As you hit enemies with attacks, the three bars on the upper left will build up. These make up the Heat Gauge.
Build up to the second or third bar of the Heat Gauge to speed up your attacks, so you can defeat enemies more quickly. This also lets you unleash Heat Action special moves.
Keep an eye on your Heat Gauge at all times.
