For attacks that you cannot defend against using Tips, such as needle and throwing attacks, hold down Tips, then move towards to the side from where Majima is facing and press Tips to circle around behind the enemy.
You have more space to work with this time around, so instead of focusing solely on attacking, hold down Tips to keep track of the enemy, and focus on evading and circling around behind with Tips.
